Requirements/Basic Qualifications:

- BS in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent experience

- 5+ years' experience programming Siemens S7 and TIA PLC systems

- 5+ years' experience programming and configuring HMI systems

- Strong electrical aptitude

- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and ability to troubleshoot controls

- Ability to translate customer specifications into software following existing customer programming standards

- Ability to understand, modify and expand code

- Experience with checkout and startup of systems

Desired/Preferred Experience:

- Experience with VFDs, control hardware and related equipment

- Experience with Zenon software

- Experience with safety hardware and software applications

- Experience with robotics, conveyor systems and paint projects

- Experience leading teams and projects with a strong desire to teach and guide other engineers

- Experience managing small project or leading small teams

- Excellent time estimation and management skills and ability to work with little oversight to meet tight deadlines

Eligibility Requirements:

- Travel 25% - 35%

- Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends and extended hours, as required for shutdowns
